Co-owner of Junction 9. Kailey never saw herself as athletic—until she discovered Reformer Pilates in Melbourne. What began as a leap outside her comfort zone became a lifelong love. She now shares Pilates as a joyful, empowering practice that reminds every body of its strength, resilience, and possibility.

Ashley (she/her) is a former pro Highland dancer turned movement pro with certifications in STOTT Pilates, Yoga, TRX, and more. She blends challenge and safety in every class, keeping things fresh and fun. Off the mat, she’s sun-chasing and vino-sipping!

Avery is a fully-certified Pilates Instructor and Restorative Exercise Specialist with 20+ years of experience. Her classes blend smart biomechanics with feel-good movement to help you get strong, aligned, and ready for whatever life throws at you.
Brad O'Donnell
Yoga found him 15 years ago, and he’s been learning ever since. His classes blend grounding and intensity, weaving life stories, poetry, and presence into movement. With training in Costa Rica and experience across 90+ countries, he teaches from curiosity, compassion, and lived connection, on and off the mat.

Eddy teaches yoga as a way of life — a heart-led path of clarity and inner strength. Rooted in Buddhist values, his journey has included sharing practice across Europe, the Middle East, and Canada. His classes inspire inner stillness, soulful presence, and quiet transformation.
Gillian Abbott
Gillian is a meditation, breathwork, and movement teacher. A Juilliard alum and former Cirque du Soleil artist, she offers somatic and contemplative practices to foster presence, compassion, and intuition. She’s taught in various spaces across North America, including Columbia University and Junction 9.
Jamie Savage
Jamie found Junction 9 shortly after moving to Calgary in 2023. After spending countless hours in class, she graduated from the Mynah School of Yoga, joined the front desk team, and started teaching at this studio that feels like home.
January Glass
January’s personal practice and love for Pilates began in her early 20s. Crediting Pilates for keeping her strong, connected in mind/body and injury free, eventually led her to become a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, so in turn could share this amazing method with others.

After a decade teaching yoga, Joy discovered a growing passion for Pilates and its new opportunities to move creatively. She believes movement should be work AND fun; her intention is to create space for clients to get curious, explore, and strengthen their mind-body connection.

Kate W. Mak is an E‑RYT 500 yoga teacher, fun enthusiast + plant‑mom who’s been teaching for 15+ years. She offers teacher training with Mynah School of Yoga and leads retreats worldwide. She blends science + storytelling for playful, heart‑led classes.

Katie started on the Junction 9 front desk team in 2022. Since her start with us, she has also taken on the Retail Manager role at the studio. When she's not working, you can find Katie with her family and friends in the mountains or at an Embodied Movement class.

Kristie has been part of the J9 front desk team since July 2022. Her love of yoga brought her to the community. Kristie and her partner have 3 awesome, active kids! She enjoys live music, hiking, gardening and biking. AND yoga & pilates.

Lexi was always looking to be apart of this community, an opening for the front desk team in 2023 came just in time! Outside of the studio, Lexi is a fan of maximalist fashion, eating good food (homemade, or otherwise), and hanging out with her cat, Tobias.

Lisa is an evidence-based Pilates instructor who applies strength training principles to her classes in both fitness and therapeutic applications. Lisa’s classes are challenging, yet encouraging. Don’t be surprised if you accomplish something you didn’t think you were capable of!
Maline Ribeiro
Maline is a Sanskrit and Yoga teacher. After studying Architecture in São Paulo, she began her Hatha Yoga training in Brazil in 2017. She then spent several years in India, immersing herself in Vedānta and Yoga studies. Now based in Calgary, she teaches Vedānta, Yoga, Sanskrit, and Indian culture, both online and in person.
Maddie Desrosiers
Maddie has always had a love of movement and grew up doing dance and gymnastics. When she found Pilates she felt at home and the more she practices and teaches the more she falls in love. She is excited to be able to guide you through a practice that she is so passionate about!

After 15 years as an educator, Junction 9 gave Megan the opportunity to come back to teaching in a new way. Megan fosters an inclusive environment where everyone can feel powerful in their bodies.

Melanie is a Yoga Teacher, Manual Osteopath, Holistic Nutritionist, and Reiki Master with 10 years of experience. She runs Melanie Emlyn Wellness, where her work and classes gently support mobility, strength, and nervous system resilience.
Nora Maskey
Nora brings 30+ years of experience as a teacher, studio owner, and yoga trainer. She specializes in Critical Alignment Therapy, Functional Movement, Biomechanics, Pilates, and Breathwork. Nora is passionate about mindful movement and tailoring practices to client needs.
Rachel Neyens
Rachel has been practicing yoga for over 12 years. Trained in Hatha and Vinyasa, she weaves intention, breath, and movement to guide others toward clarity and connection. A school teacher and youth yoga educator, she’s passionate about mindful movement for all ages.

Randelle Lusk is the founder of Rare Method™—a somatic-informed approach to mind, movement, breath, and self-inquiry. With 15 years of global experience, she’s a seasoned yoga educator, retreat leader, somatic guide, and executive & emotional intelligence coach.

Randi is new to the J9 team, but has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her family. She loves being part of the studio’s space and community, and values the meaningful connections she makes with everyone who comes through the door.

Simone has a background in Nursing and Dance, and has had a love for science-backed movement her entire life. She is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor and have been teaching movement for over a decade.
